On January, 2009 we finished re-painting as we do almost every year. This is one of the reasons why Casa Colonial and all of our villas give the impression of being new, yet rustic with all of the modern conveniences you would expect from a world class resort.
Villa Tesoro is a work of art as much as it is one of the finest Cozumel resorts.
Enjoy our large pool and Jacuzzi. The combination of deep end and shallow end is ideal for practicing those rusty diving skills!. Or you can sip your favorite drink while relaxing in the Jacuzzi. The pool is surrounded by exotic tropical vegetation that is for the enjoyment of all of our guests. When a fresh bunch of bananas is ready to eat we hang it in the barbeque area. There are also many other varieties of fruits that are in season throughout the year.
How about a Barbecue?
We recommend the "Arachera" which is a flank steak that is merinaded to perfection. After you cook it you can cut it with a fork which is much more tender then most steaks available on the island. If you are a vegitarian we recommend a variety of fresh vegetables available at the local market which is one and a half blocks away which you can season with olive oil, salt and peper (covered with aluminum). It tastes delicious! Foret about the bland food for most resorts that cater to hundreds of guests every day. You can even have our chef service provide you with mouth watering delights with distinct Mexican flavors!
We also cater to divers and snorklers. Our large dive rinse tank, rack and outdoor shower (located just to the side of the Jacuzzi) will allow you to relax and tell "dive stories" while you rinse off your body and gear.
